A normal person wants huge success but is often not ready to conquer all the obstacles in life and give it all. But, often it’s the attitude change one needs to do for achieving goals and finding limitless happiness.

Work Hard Dream Big
We would have seen this message- Work Hard Dream Big. Even as a child, I have been dreaming about success but a few years back realised that “work hard” part.
I remember as kids, I and my cousin excitedly used to chat about our fantasies.
We would eat Chocolate to our heart’s content from our father’s chocolate factory, have a pair of new uniforms and dresses every day, and will always move around in our chauffeur drove luxury vehicles.
Of course, we became more realistic as we grew up, but the dreamer in me never died. I also remember sitting in the bookstore and reading self-help, biographies, and business books for hours.
Although, dreaming is the first process. But as they say, dreaming without any Action (to achieve the dreams) is just visual thinking which might never come to life.
So, our mantra should always be ”Dream Big But With Right Action”

It is really easy to become eclipsed by our current situation or surrounding. As they compel us to believe, that it may be possible for others, but not for me. The lone thing that is keeping us from accomplishing anything in life is- ourselves.
We suffer from so many mental blocks like fear of failure, fear of rejection, procrastination, moving out of the comfort zone, People’s opinion and the list go on and on.
The above list doesn’t enable us to achieve what we desire.
But, in all this, you need to be clear about a few things: what are your dreams, and what is the reason behind them? Why do you want to achieve them so badly? Write down clearly your personal goals, business goals, life goals, short term goals, long term goals etc. It is said that when we write goals on a piece of paper, we reaffirm that to the universe again.
The clearer you are about these questions, the more you will feel the need to achieve them. You should always be goals oriented and should have them written as smart goals.
But you may still encounter obstacles from time to time. There are so many examples of obstacles in life that you will have to deal with. Let me share a recent personal experience.
Recently, I launched my free 42 points self-improvement checklist. I had planned every single detail and wanted to make it live by 10th Sep 2021 (the day of Ganesh Chaturthi- a Hindu festival) but I was facing technical issues with emails. I tried many email marketing tools, and watched more than 30-35 videos on Youtube but couldn’t solve the issue.
Almost for a month, I lost my sleep, my anxiety was at an all-time high and finally, after numerous attempts, the technical issues got solved. I could launch my product on 22nd Sep 2021. I had a choice to give up but I have to overcome all the obstacles in life to reach where I want.

Dreaming big and overcoming life’s challenges develops your Positive Mindset or Attitude. Your belief system improves and you constantly strive to become a more optimistic person.
The best book which helped me to change my attitude is the book- Attitude is Everything.
Change in the mindset does not happen overnight and requires sustained practice. One way to do that is, by replacing the negative thought instantly with a positive one.

“Life without a destination is like a life without direction”, where you just wander (wherever you see route) without realising where you’re heading to.
One of the important factors in goal setting and goal achieving is the focus. Along the path of reaching for our dreams, we tend to become more focused.
But, I agree that in the 21st Century, we induce a big problem focusing on one thing for a long time (thanks to the numerous gadgets), however, two things that have helped me immensely are: Meditation and Removing Distractions.
To avoid distractions: Switch off your TV and most importantly, keep your cellphone on ‘Flight mode’ if you are not expecting any important call or at least close your social media friends like What’s App, Facebook, YouTube, etc.
Big dreams eventually allow us to eliminate procrastination from our lives and incorporate timely actions. As we are focused on our goals, we usually set a time to finish the task and customarily complete it.
The best method to accomplish any big goal is to divide them into smaller clumps. Divide your goals into smart goals (as mentioned above) or into short term goals and long term goals.
Ex- If your aspiration is to go to Europe next year, makes an estimate and set about saving a certain amount every month beginning today or start a mutual fund for your travel maybe for twelve months.

Dreaming is a desire that comes from within. Because it is our dream, it ignites a passion within us and we should strive hard to achieve them.
Along the way, we may definitely encounter numerous challenges, however, always remember that these challenges make you stronger and they are like a stepping stone ultimately helping you to stretch to the milestone.
Let Go ‘Fear’
As I said earlier, most people do not achieve their dreams due to multiple reasons, one being: fear (fear of failure or fear of rejection).
Merely, history proves that anyone who has accomplished their life goals has done it after many failures and overcoming his fears. Whenever you fear something- Just think, ‘I can do it and just take action.

People say, daydreaming is bad; however, visualizing your goals will bring your dreams closer to you.
But an important point to remember is that none of your dreams will come true unless you put action to make it a reality.
Writing your goals on a piece of paper and visualizing the end result would help you to achieve them faster.
As it has been said in the movie: Om Shanti Om- “Agar kissi cheez ko dil se chaho, toh purri kaynat use tumse mil wane mein lag jaati hai.” (Translation: “If you really desire something, the whole Universe will conspire to give it to you.”)
So friends, do not be scared to dream… DREAM BIG and work on it.
